The aim of G.I.R.L. Tech was to use robots to intrigue, empower, and inspire. Our team of eight graduate students worked closely with the Pittsburgh Children's Museum, Girl Scouts Western Pennsylvania, and YWCA Greater Pittsburgh to make robotics accessible to a wider audience. Our goal was to create opportunities for young people, especially girls, to engage with robotics in ways that are relevant to their lives and will help them build lifelong skills.

Our final product was Lynxie, an interactive painting robot.  She and her art studio are now housed in the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh.
